having grown tired of the search software that was in place here, i installed some new search software that should make it easyer to search, as well as make searching more helpful. it's a lot like the search in itunes and many newer systems. it's called SOLR, by the apache group. and if your wondering, the tomcat server it's running on is not visible to anyone outside of my own system. 
 
also I'm always looking for new ideas, if you have something fresh you would like to see, let me know.
